Materials List

  • Wired Ribbon: in this video, 2 1/2" wide ribbon is used.

Instructions

  1. Cut your ribbon about twice as long as you'd like the tails to be that will hang from the completed bow.

  2. Taking care as to which side of the bow will be the outside, create two "bunny ear" loops as close to the middle as possible, like tying your shoelaces. The size of the loops will determine how big the bow is.

  3. Tie the two bunny ears together like tying your shoelaces.

  4. In the middle, the ribbon might be flipped wrong side out. Squeeze your finger in the middle and flip the middle piece right side out.

  5. From here, the bow is easy to adjust and shape to your liking.

  6. Optional: for a polished look, trim the ends to a point or to a swallow's tail depending on your preference.
