These are out of this world cute. I am completely in love with the gum ball machine looking one. It's just perfect. And as far as making it, the directions are so simple and easy to follow that I can't miss. I am thinking of ways to make it for different holidays too.

Very cute idea and one you could use for a variety of holidays. The only question I have is why glue on a knob if you will have to reach insde the hat to grab it? I would think overtime it would squish the felt.

Hi there! You're actually gluing a knob directly to the terra cotta. This way you reach inside the felt hat to lift the lid off the jar so it shouldn't squish the felt, but I could see skipping that step altogether and just lifting the lid at the ceramic!
