Materials:

  • Leopard print fleece
  • Old wool sweater
  • Medium weight fusible interfacing or rubber sole

Instructions:

  1. Start by printing out this booty pattern. Cut out your pieces and since were making a pair, you should have 4 pieces per pattern. Two for the outer booty and two for the lining.

  2. Take the upper and the body pieces then pin them edge to edge right sides together. Meaning that the body square edge’s right side is facing the upper straight edge’s right side.

  3. Sew along the pin lines then you’ll have something looking like these…

  4. Fold right sides together then sew the body along the side. Technically it’s the back part of your booty. Do this on the outer and the lining.

  5. It should look like these once sewn…

  6. Now with right sides together, insert the outer booty into the lining…

  7. Pinning down the top edge like so…

  8. Then sew along the pin lines.

  9. Turn it inside out and you’ll see that your booty is taking its form…

  10. Let’s attach each sole on! All you do is pin down each sole on the booty’s right side then sew. Therefore you should have your booty turned inside out. Meaning the wrong side is facing you.

  11. Make sure to leave a little opening on your lining so you can pull and turn them inside out once done sewing.

  12. Now turn the booty on its right side then hand sew that little opening…

  13. Hand sew an invisible stitch…

  14. Stitch as invisible as you can.

  15. Tuck your lining in and you’re done with the first pair.
