This helpful video tutorial will teach you how to make them in no time. Your clean car will thank you. They also make great gifts! Materials List

  • Old robe
  • Knitted cuffs that you can get at any fabric store
  • Kai fabric scissors
  • Pins
  • Sewing machine

Instructions

  1. Cut the robe into large squares of fabric so you have an easy surface to work from.

  2. Using off-season wrapping paper or any other large scrap paper, draw a large mitten shape and cut it out.

  3. Fold the bathrobe fabric in half and pin the pattern on.

  4. Cut it out. Do the same for a second mitten, pinning the pattern in place and then cutting it out.

  5. Sew two of the cutouts together around the top of the mitt.

  6. Turn inside out. Add the knit cuff around the opening on the mitten and pin the edges together.

  7. Sew around the opening, turn the cuff rightside out, and you're done! Repeat with the other glove for a matching set.
