Buffalo Table Runner

"When I found this buffalo print fabric, I knew I had to make something with it. I used a 60" triangle and fussy cut each triangle. Very easy strip design."

NotesFloral fabric looks great too. Be sure when you cut your triangles remember you need 8 As and 6 Bs.

Materials List

  • 1 1/2 yard of fabric
  • 60" triangle at least 8"

Instructions

  1. Pick the triangle design that you want to use. That is your A pile

  2. Cut one, then flip your ruler and cut another one to the left right beside that fist one THis is your B stack.

  3. Cut 7 more of A and 5 more of B.

  4. Look at my picture, and lay your fabric triangles like mine.

  5. Sew the top row together, then the bottom row.

  6. Then sew the two rows together and press that seam open.

  7. On a table lay the filler, the backing up side, and the piece you just sewed face down.

  8. Sew a 1/4" seam all around, leave a 6" space to turn it right side out. Cut all around 1/4" from edge and then turn it right side out.

  9. Press, then finish and quilt to your liking.
