Materials List

  • One sheet of origami paper in size or your preference.
  • Bone folder or credit card (optional for folding)

Instructions

  1. Angle paper wrong side down in front of you so it is a diamond shape. Take the bottom corner and fold up to create a triangle. Crease the fold with your fingernail or bone folder to create a crisp fold.

  2. Open it up and turn it to the other point. Fold again.

  3. Open it up again. Take the top point and fold it down to the middle.

  4. Take your bottom point and fold it up to the top of the paper.

  5. Take the left point and fold it upward so the bottom edge lines with the middle vertical crease.

  6. Repeat with the right side.

  7. Turn the heart over. Fold the outer corners in a tiny bit.

  8. Fold the top points down so they line up with the top of the paper like so:

  9. Flip it back over and your heart is done!
