Black Cherry Bike Makeover

Learn how to spray paint a bicycle with this free tutorial for the Black Cherry Bike Makeover. Take a boy bike and make it girly or vice versa! All you have to do is pick the Krylon spray paint that suits your needs and your child will have the bike of their dreams in no time.

Materials:

  • 1 Bike
  • 1 Can of  Krylon® ColorMaster™ Enamel Paint - Satin White
  • 1 Can of  Krylon® ColorMaster™ Enamel Paint - Satin Black
  • 1 Can of  Krylon® ColorMaster™ Enamel Paint - Satin Burgundy
  • 1 Tool set (to take bike apart)
  • 1 Towel
  • 1 Bucket of soapy water
  • 1 Tarp
  • 1 Roll of painters tape
  • 1 Seat covering

Instructions:

  1. Take bike apart. Don't forget to keep up with the pieces. Remove the stickers.
  2. Wash the pieces with soapy water and a towel. Place tarp on your work space.
  3. Tape off the spaces on the bike that you don't want to get paint on.
  4. Paint the pieces and allow them to dry. Recover the seat.
  5. Reassemble the bike and enjoy.
