Butterfly Boy Vintage Christmas Ornament
"I started with an antique Christmas ball, added an image from a vintage advertisement of the boy with his dog, gold wire for butterflies antennae, tinsel, lamella, old jewelry pieces, Dresden gold wings and halo, vintage images of butterflies and flowers, card stock to stiffen images, using Mod podge to glue, and coat bead dangles, and glitter. Was going for the Victorian "more is more", handmade vintage look. Used butterfly images throughout for my theme. Merry Christmas to all!"

Instructions

Start with an antique Christmast ball ornament. Add an image from a vintage advertisement of the boy with his dog.

Use gold wire to make the antannae for the butterflies.

Adhere cardstock to the back of any images to stiffen them using Mod Podge.

Coat bead dangles with glitter.

Add butterfly images throughout.
NotesThis took a long time to make, but was fun all the way- No preconceived plan, it just evolved as I worked. a joyful project!
