Talisman Crystal Necklace DIY

"Recently, magic talismans and craft supplies for it have become quite popular among the population. Talismans or amulets are used not only as indispensable magical attributes but also as ornaments. A talisman can be any object that you “charged” in a certain way. For self-made ornaments from crystals, the person does not necessarily need to be a sophisticated jeweler. So it will be much better if you make your own crystal necklace in the form of any decoration."

Materials List

  • Aluminium can of any color (for example, from soda or beer)
  • Sharp knife
  • High-strength glue-gel
  • Elastics
  • Toothpicks or cotton wools

Instructions:

  1. Cut the middle part of the jar and straighten it. Now, in keeping with the size and form of the stone from which you want to make a coulomb, cut off a small rectangle from the plate - in a bent condition, it should close about half of your crystal.

  2. Put the resulting piece of aluminium with the pattern side up and apply two strips of glue on the opposite sides of the rectangle. Do not apply glue to the centre!

  3. Fold it and “dress” (but not to the end) on the stone, tightly pressing with your fingers. Among the centre of the plate and the surface of the stone, you should remain a small distance.

  4. Put a toothpick or cotton wand in this space.

  5. Fasten it by elastics; wrap it around the crystal with the plate as hard as possible, and leave to dry for at least 24 hours.

  6. After a day, remove elastic and toothpicks. The chain must be stretched in the interspace between the stone and the plate.
