DIY Wood Slice Necklace

Materials List

  • Twig or small branch
  • Dremel with saw attachment
  • Backing for necklace (felt, fabric, etc.)
  • Chain
  • Clear coat spray
  • Wet adhesive

Instructions

  1. Bake branches in the oven on lowest setting for about an hour to kill off any bugs.

  2. Cut branches in 1/4" segments with Dremel. If you get any burn marks you can sand them off.

  3. Adhere wood segments to a backing for the necklace (felt, fabric, etc.) with wet adhesive.

  4. Once dry, apply clear coat spray to seal wood.

  5. Add chain to each end to create the necklace.
