Crochet 101

Learn how to crochet -- no skills or previous experience required!

With this beginner crochet class, you will quickly learn all the basics of crochet, from how to hold the yarn and hook, to crocheting all the basic stitches. During this class, you will learn the chain stitch, slip stitch, single crochet, half-double crochet, and double crochet. Plus, Marly will walk you through common questions including how to count stitches, what is tension/gauge (and why it is important), and how to weave in your ends. Soon, you'll be crocheting endless items for everyone you know -- including yourself!

As you follow along with Marly Bird, you'll crochet a basic swatch and learn how to make beginner-level crochet projects using basic crochet stitches and techniques.
