Primary TechniqueCrochet

Yarn Weight(6) Super Bulky/Super Chunky (4-11 stitches for 4 inches)

Crochet HookK/10.5 or 6.5 mm hook

Materials:

  • Wool Ease Thick and Quick (Charcoal is used in the picture)
  • K Hook
  • yarn needle

 

Instructions:

Ch 2. Join with a sl st to form a ring
Round 1: Ch 1. Work 9 hdc in ring. Join with a sl st to top of beginning ch 1. (10 sc)
Round 2. Ch 2. Hdc in the same st as beginning ch 2. 2 hdc in each st around. Join with a sl st to top of beginning ch 2. (20 hdc)
Round 3: Ch 2. Hdc in the same st as beginning ch 2. Hdc in next st. *2 hdc in next st. hdc in next st.* Repeat from * around. Join with a sl st to top of beginning ch 2. (30 hdc)
Round 4: Ch 2. Hdc in the same st as beginning ch 2. Hdc in next 2 st. *2 hdc in next st. Hdc in next 2 st.* Repeat from * around. Join with a sl st to top of beginning ch 2. (42 hdc)
Round 5: Ch 2. Hdc in the same st as beginning ch 2. Hdc in the next 3 st. *2 hdc in next st. Hdc in the next 3 st.* Repeat from * around, ending with 2 hdc in last 2 st. (52 hdc)

Tie off and weave in ends.
