Materials:

  • Clean laundry detergent lids
  • Styrofoam ball
  • Scraps of fabric
  • Quilt batting (optional)
  • Rick-rack, lace, ribbon for embellishments
  • Buttons
  • Basic arts & crafts supplies

 

Instructions:

  1. This step is optional. Cut quilt batting in a circle to go around the Styro-foam ball. Either glue or pin the quilt batting gathering it at the bottom.


     
  2. Cut a piece of decorative fabric in a circle that will fit around the Styro-foam ball. Either glue or pin the fabric around the ball gathering it at the bottom.


     
  3. Place the ball in the laundry lid with the bottom side down in the lid. Glue in place.


     
  4. Have fun decorating the laundry lid. Be creative by using embellishments like; ribbon, lace, rick-rack, buttons, gems, and more.
