With some beads, pliers, floral wire, hot glue, and a garden stake you’ll be on your way to making a beautiful beaded garden sparkler! With spring in full bloom and summer around the corner, it’s time to bring out the garden decor. Along with our beaded decorative garden stakes, we’ve decided to craft up something new to the mix. The beauty of this garden sparkler is that there are tons of different bead options and color choices so it can be made to suit your individual taste. "

Primary TechniqueBeadwork

Materials List

  • plant stake 18" long
  • floral wire 18 gauge in white
  • beads assorted sizes, shapes, and colors. Must be able to thread wire through the holes*
  • mini spacer beads must be large enough to thread wire through the holes
  • twine or brown cording

Instructions

  1. Sort beads into piles by size, color and shape.

  2. Working one strand at a time, begin threading the beads onto the wire. Start with a lighter-weight bead on the end, fold back the threaded wire, and twist around above the bead.
