Distressed Crate Drawers

Materials:

  • FolkArt ® Home Decor™ Chalk - Cascade, 8 oz.; Spanish Moss, 8 oz.; Tuscan Red, 8 oz.; Turkish Tile, 8 oz.;
  • FolkArt ® Home Decor™ Tools - Layering Block
  • Woodline Works Crate Drawer SKU #13046
  • Three drawer pulls
  • Drill
  • Screws
  • Screwdriver
  • Foam plates
  • Water basin
  • Paper towels
  • Pencil

Instructions:

  1. Pour Spanish Moss onto foam plate. Dip wood block into paint and lightly drag across surface of drawers and crate. Let dry.

     
  2. Repeat process with applying Turkish Tile, Cascade and Tuscan Red. Allow dry time between coats.

     
  3. Position drawer pulls onto drawers and mark holes with pencil.

     
  4. Drill holes and screw pulls onto drawers.
