Ugly Christmas Sweater Sampler Blanket

From the designer: "Dive into the wonderfully happy Ugly Christmas Sweater Blanket! Imagine taking your favorite Christmas party outfit and turning it into something you can snuggle under all season long. That's what we are doing in this crochet sampler blanket. You will have lots of opportunities for individuality and color combinations. You can make it as "ugly" or as "beautiful" as you want. In the end, it will be your favorite project! This sampler takes you through a large variety of stitches, including front and back posts, Popcorns, cross-stitch on crochet, intarsia, picots, and all of the usual crochet suspects like single, half doubles, and double crochets. It is great for the beginner and the experienced alike and video tutorials are available throughout the blanket, so you will never be stuck.

Here are the supplies I used for the original blanket: Worsted Weight/10 ply/Aran yarn- I Love This Yarn (Solids- 7oz/355yds, Metallic- 5oz/252yds) Colors: White- 4-1/2 skeins Metallic Red- 1-1/2 skeins Red- 1 skein Green- 2 skeins Blue- 1-1/2 skeins Yellow- ¾ skein Orange- ¾ skein Brown- 3 oz Scrap amounts of dark brown for reindeer faces The pattern is broken down section by section on my blog with a list of color suggestions for each part. You, of course, can use whatever colors you like to make your Ugly Christmas Sweater Blanket as loud or as quiet as you want it to be.
