Two Tone Fair Isle Beanie Hat Crochet Pattern

"Traditional fair isle patterns are really popular in the craft community. Fair isle is a technique that creates designs in a pattern through color changes. One stitch in a contrasting color can represent one pixel in a design. In this case, the design is really straightforward and basic. This would be a good pattern to start with if you haven’t tried fair isle before. This hat is worked with the ribbing and bottom in one color and the top portion of the hat in a contrasting color. Then, in each section, there are little stitches worked in the contrasting color to create a spotted design."
