Phoneytail or Fun Bun Hat

Phoneytail or Fun Bun Hat

"I originally designed this hat for a friend whose twin toddlers had yet to grow their hair. Mom was constantly getting remarks about her cute baby boys, even when they were wearing pink. She said she loved the messy bun/ponytail hats, but her girls couldn't wear them because they didnt' have hair. So, we decided to work together to make this phoneytail hat and it came out so cute. My friend said the girls don't want to take them off. They love their ponytails! As I worked on the pattern, I became more and more thoughtful of all the many women and girls who struggle with hair loss and thinning hair due to medical conditions and chemo. So, what started as a fun little hat project became more of a labor of love in honor of my many friends who have lost their hair and are fighting for their lives. Is such, I've decided to donate a portion of the proceeds from the sale of this pattern to Locks of Love. If you're purchasing the pattern as a project to sell in your shop, I encourage you to do the same. <3"

NotesThis hat is not a traditional messy bun hat. Instead, it is for those who struggle to grow or who have lost their hair.
