"Summer is almost here! Celebrate with your littles by making this cute Fun Sun Papercraft. This craft would be perfect for weather charts at school or just to add some sunshine around the house! All you'll need is scissors, construction paper, glue, and a black marker. Kids will love picking out the colors for their sun's rays and adding whatever silly face they want. Hang this little guy in the window for some colorful shine on sunny days! "

Materials List

  • colored craft papers
  • glue
  • scissors
  • black marker

Instructions

  1. Step 1: cut four paper strips of each color to make the sun’s rays. Dimensions (3 inches of length).

  2. Step 2: cut a big yellow circle that will be the sun’s face.

  3. Step 3: glue the strips two by two of each color, folding them in half repeating this in all perimeter.

  4. Step 4: print and cut the eyes and the mouth then glue them to make the sun’s face. If you want you can also draw it!
