- A couple old pairs of jeans
- Fabric scissors

- A sewing machine (or liquid stitch if you don't know how to sew)

DIY Jean Placemats Instructions

Using the leg portion of your jeans, cut 6 strips of fabric about 16" long and 2" wide. Then, cut 8 strips that are 13" long and 2" wide.

Weave the fabric pieces together. Do this by putting your fabric one over and one under and doing it the opposite direction for your next row.

Once you finish weaving your strips, pin them all in place.

To sew: sew up all the edges being sure to remove the pins as you approach them.
No sew option: apply the liquid stitch and glue down where you would typically sew.
