Bride

"The first one is a Super model in pink gown made from clay. The second one is the bride made from clay. I handmade these figurines from air dry clay, It took four days for them to fully dry.Then I painted them Each figurine took about 4 to 5 hours to make.I usually sketch my ideas first before I actually start to make them.I also do head sculptures using the same techniques.I do my work from my home"

  • Clay
  • Sculpting tools
  • Paints
  • Sketch pad

Instructions

  1. Sketch your idea first

  2. Start working from the head first

  3. Then work from the body down if you are doing the full body

  4. Let the figurine dry for four to five days to fully dry

  5. Then clean up any areas that needs touching up

  6. Then paint it.

  7. Let the paint dry for about 3 hours,I use the quick dry paint.

NotesDon't be in a hurry, because this is a project that takes patience, especially when you are doing small facial parts.
