Winter Wonderland Snowman Pillow Cover

Winter Wonderland Snowman Pillow Cover

"Today I am sharing a super sweet pillow cover pattern that’s made using crochet colorwork from a chart. If you have never crocheted with two colors or more in colorwork, this is a beginner friendly pattern. It may just ‘hook’ you into trying more colorwork patterns! The pillow cover is designed to enclose a 12” square pillow form insert. You can purchase these inexpensively online or at a fabric store. You will need 205 yds of worsted weight yarn for main color, and 65 yds of worsted weight yarn for contrasting color. You will also need a size H-8 (5 mm) crochet hook. The project is made by crocheting two panels for the front and back of pillow cover, then seaming them together. The front panel is made using a colorwork chart for 2 yarn colors, while the back panel is one solid color. Each panel is made with rows of single crochet stitches. Have fun with the pillow cover by embroidering nose/eyes/buttons to the Snowman or adding pom poms to the corners. Display your pillow all winter long!"
