Materials List

  • 1 cup of Baking Soda
  • 1/2 cup of Cream of Tartar
  • 1/2 a cup of Epsom salts
  • Food coloring
  • 3 Tablespoons of olive oil
  • Some water
  • Essential oil of your choice
  • Vitamin E oil (optional)
  • Dried up orange peel (optional)

Fizzy DIY Bath Bombs

Homemade Bath Bomb Recipe

  1. Mix your dry ingredients by adding the cream of tartar and epsom salts into the baking soda. 
    You can also add the orange peel here if you would like. 

  2. Stir the mixture until it is evenly distributed.

  3. Set up your molds so that they are ready after you add your liquid ingredients.

    Tip: You are going to want to work quickly so that your mixture doesn't dry and set. 

  4. Add a few drops of you essential oil with your olive oil, and add a couple of drops to your food coloring. 
    You can also add your vitamine E oil here if you would like. 

  5. Drizzle that liquid mixture into your dry ingredients. 

  6. Continue to stir and distribute the mixture. 

  7. Add a couploe drops of water at a time and continue to mix your mixture. It should not become a smooth liquid consistency. 

  8. Once you think you have reached your desired texture try and see if it is ready to be packed by squeezing it together and seeing if it will hold. 

  9. Pack you mixture into your mold. 

  10. Leave this to dry at least 2 hours or overnight if you prefer.
