Materials List

  • Air dry clay
  • Live leaves from backyard
  • Craft knife
  • Craft rolling pin
  • Acrylic paint
  • Tin foil 

Instructions

  1. Roll out air dry clay on a clean nonstick surface to a ¼ inch thick.

  2. Remove stem from leaf.

  3. Press leaf into the clay with vein side down.

  4. Cut around the leaf in the clay with knife and remove excess clay, Pull leaf off.

  5. Take tinfoil roll it up and form a circle that matches the size of your leaf.

  6. Then place leaf on circle and lightly press leaf down to form a bowl.

  7. Let air dry for 24 hours.

  8. Leave natural or add acrylic paint.
