  1. Tiffany Chapman says

I love making afghans as well as all different things with yarn. My sister ask me to make her a pair of fingerless gloves and a pair of house booties to run around in for christmas…I was planning on doing just that!

  2. says

The first afghan I ever made was a granny square and I sat next to my grandmother as she taught me how, if I remember correctly I was just about 9 years old. I have made many since but my most favorite is a pink cancer one I made for my mom, she took it with her for every chemo session and every time she felt down she curled up in it. They displayed it at her funeral and then gave it to me to treasure and I do.

  3. Julie Clorey says

No. But I have made a coulpe of scarfs and a few wash cloths, my first one turned out to be a triangle, lol.
I have been meaning to try a baby blanket though.

  4. Pat Pearson says

I made a baby afghan for my cousin’s baby shower. She was so pleased and surprised which made me feel glad that I did it. It was my first afghan.

  5. Toni Smith says

Every time I start an afghan for myself I get distracted by other things I need to make for my friends or family! Right now I am working on a wedding one for my sister and then I have made a promise to myself that I have to make one for me before the end of next year!!

  6. Margaret Branham says

Yes, I’ve made many. Not just for myself but for my kids, family & friends! I figured out my own patterns a few years ago to make full size NFL Logo Afghans for several family & friends as well. They were all surprised & very happy with how well they turned out, as well as I was. Since I’d never made my own patterns before that, I have to admit I was pretty proud of all the ones that I made.

  7. Heather Hunter says

I have made tons of afghans, but only one for our house… They are always for other people…

  8. Alicia Saldivar says

No but I plan to! I’ve seen many different patterns, it’s so hard to pick just one to start with!

  9. Gabriel Kingsley says

I have not made an afgan yet BUT I do have a couple patterns that I want to make. One is a graphgan and other is with granny sqares.

  10. Shelly F. says

Actually I’ve made tons of afghans, I love them! It’s a great project for a cold winter day.

  11. Renee Chappell says

I already have this pattern & am looking forward to making it. Just need the right yarn & the time to get it done. I really like this one.

  12. Connie Vaughn says

I have made quite a few afghans. I have made one for almost all of my best friends and family members! i love to crochet them and come up with different designs!

  13. Bhupinder says

I love knitting. Knitting is my passion Last year I had knitted a blanket with full alphabet This was for my little three years old grand daughter

  14. Becca Johnson says

I have made several afghans during my life. My favorite is the one I made my hubby. He always complained that he couldn’t stay tucked. So I made a pocket on the underside with the same yarn and afghan pattern.
This afghan would be perfect in my new grandsons room, it is a nautical theme.
Thank you so much for running this contest and offering such a beautiful prize. If I don’t win I may have to get yarn and make this anyway!
