Hats are my favorite thing to knit, they are quick to make, practical, and you don’t need a huge amount of yarn to make one.

  2. Rhonda says

I have knit a lot of hats using Red Heart yarn. I love this yarn and love the wide selection of colors. I also use Red Heart yarn to make bears for a children’s’ charity.

Diane, thanks for the congratulations. I was so shocked to be the winner of this particular giveaway.

Karen, you’re right – hat are such quick and easy projects. Who doesn’t like receiving a lovely handmade hat.

The very first knitting project I ever made was a hat for my boyfriend (now my husband of nearly nearly 29 years). I have knitted a lot of hats since then (we have six kids and 25 nieces and nephews), but we still have the first one, and my husband still wears it.
