  1. Crazy Quilts

  2. I like to make curtains. I change the ones in my kitchen to match holidays or the season.

  3. I love to decorate with old picture/ painting frames: you can make so much with them: have them as photo walls, adhere/ make wall paper onto the inner part, where the painting usually is, you can make french memo boards from them, deco them with small lights (chains of lights you can buy in craft stores), or make 3D-decos out of them. I am looking for such frames on flea markets. The advantage of them is, that you can change the style (colours, season…) whenever you want very easily.

I’ll definitely check the links posted above and would like to send you a huge thank you for them!!

  4. Crocheting and beading are my favorite ways to decorate.

I’m in college, so figuring out creative ways of decorating a space is a big deal to me. Since we can’t paint our dorm walls, I love to add color to the walls. My favorite thing to do is add paint swatches to the wall and to create a pattern out of them. I have a whole wall decorated with dark color on the top fading into lighter color as it gets to the bottom. Although that’s a full wall project, also creating little patterns can go a long way as far as brightening up a room.
