FaveCrafts Storms Michaels

Pinterest

Yes, we have invaded the Michaels closest to our office and went on a crazy one hour shopping spree for our Dream Tree Challenge. When you add challenge to the end of anything, we can’t help but get a little competitive even if it isn’t a competition.

We decided to create a FaveCrafts-themed tree so we made color swatches before heading out to the store. We tried to stick to certain shades of pink, green and blue that complemented the design of the site.

Even the craft supplies matched our site colors! Luckily, we could hang a few on our tree in the name of FaveCrafts!

Armed with our $500 gift card from Michaels, we loaded up our carts with everything from yarn to Mod Podge.

Let’s just say the cashier at Michaels was a little shocked by our crafty haul. In fact, our team had to complete two transactions because we purchased too many products! In the end we only had $20 dollars left over on our Michaels gift card. The receipt was almost as tall as our craft manager Simone.

After a productive morning at Michaels, our team was itching to head back to the office and get to work…on our Christmas tree of course!

Have you started decorating your own Christmas tree?
