I absolutely love the idea for this section! The thrifty DIY copycat products are great and totally wearable. One store I wish I could shop at more often is Zara. The clothes are super chic and edgy but are typically out of my price-range. If you have any ideas for remakes of clothing in a style similar to Zara, it’d be awesome to share! Although, Anthropologie has more of a boho feel, so maybe it would be easier to figure out how to make some DIY FreePeople items, as its more along the lines of your original posts!

The amount of time I spend “window-shopping” in Anthropologie is slightly sad. I cannot afford to buy really any of their items (living that college-kid life), but I love to look since pretty much everything in that store is right up my alley. These are really great DIYs that will definitely make me feel fashionable without killing my wallet. Love these!

I usually go to Anthropologie when I’m looking for outfit inspiration. In the past, I have been known to take pictures of the mannequins in hopes of recreating the look for less. Since Anthro’s prices are often out of reach, I try my best to mimic an outfit by hunting for pieces at a lower price point at other stores. I can still achieve a laid-back, boho vibe without breaking the bank. Recently, I was on the hunt for an outfit for my engagement pictures. I saw a skirt I loved in the window of my local Antropologie store. I walked in, took one look at the price tag, and knew it was out of my budget. Although I didn’t buy the skirt, it reminded me of a similar skirt I already had in my closet and it inspired me to style it in a new way. Thanks so much for sharing these Anthropologie knock-off crafts (especially the ones for your wardrobe). I will definitely put your suggestions to good use!

The holiday mug is definitely something I will try! I also love Anthropologie but I’ve been in college the past four years and what student can afford that? I’m obsessed with Emma Bridgewater mugs and decor, but it’s also pretty pricey. Would love to see an Emma Bridgewater-inspired crafts article!
