Knitting is a very useful skill for any crafter to have, and there are many out there who’ve never learned how to knit, but are looking for a place to start. Luckily for anyone interested in knitting, AllFreeChristmasCrafts has the book to start with, Really Wild Tea Cosies.

Not only will you gain access to 21 original designs that will give your tea kettle a personality all its own, but also some basic tips and techniques for knitting in general, as well as 10 additional project ideas to work on throughout the year. Murdoch Books and Loani Prior have created a comprehensive guide for knitters of all ages that will help them progress in their craft, as well as become more creative and original in their decorating. Each of the patterns included in Really Wild Tea Cosies gives you an idea of how you can bring your personality and interests to your knitting projects.

For those who have never made a tea cosy before, Really Wild Tea Cosies is an even more valuable resource. Every tutorial from “The Jester” (p. 16) to “Short Black with Two” (p. 114) have patterns broken down individually, giving you a full idea of how each section is put together. The techniques used are laid out in the beginning, so if you ever find yourself confused, you can just flip back to the introduction and get back on track in no time.

Knitters of all skill levels will be able to improve with all of the tips and tutorials included in Really Wild Tea Coasies, which means the latest giveaway from AllFreeChristmasCrafts couldn’t have better timing. We’re giving away one free copy of Really Wild Tea Cosies, and you have a chance to enter until February 26th. I never really completely stop crocheting Christmas items. It is fun to work on all year round, scattered in among other projects. Then .. I ‘magically’ have them in time for giving, with no Christmas rush.
