Instructions

  1. Sand the wood arrow to remove any excessively rough edges and burrs. Wipe the sawdust away with a soft cloth.

  2. Spray one coat of Design Master's UberMatte Ultra Matte Color Finish in Mist (555) over the front and sides of the arrow. Allow to dry.

  3. Apply a second coat of Design Master's UberMatte Ultra Matte Color Finish in Mist (555) to the arrow and allow to dry.

  4. Apply Delta's Ceramcoat Select Multi-Surface Satin Acrylic Paint in Shadow Gray (04037) to rubber stamp letters with a foam brush.

  5. Stamp the letters onto the arrow to spell a word or words.

  6. Wash the stamps immediately, before the paint dries.

  7. Lightly brush the excessive paint from the foam brush all over the arrow to distress it.

  8. Use PLAID FolkArt Gold Taklon Detail Brushes (#10/0, #3, #5) to add lines with Delta's Ceramcoat Select Multi-Surface Satin Acrylic Paint in Shadow Gray (04037) as a design detail to the arrow.

  9. Write another word with the PLAID FolkArt Gold Taklon Detail Brushes (#10/0, #3, #5) and the Delta's Ceramcoat Select Multi-Surface Satin Acrylic Paint in Shadow Gray (04037).

  10. Allow paint to dry.

  11. Flip the arrow over and use a staple gun to staple a strip of heavy jute twine to the back of the arrow. This will serve as a hanger.

  12. Add a nail or screw to the wall and hang the arrow.
