Beaded White Ballet DressBy: Amy Law for Kreinik Need a costume in a hurry? This project shows you how to get an embellished outfit in minutes. To dress up a plain, purchased outfit, simply decorate with beads, tape and metallic threads - and you will stand out in the crowd.
Materials:
Steps:
OPTIONAL: For a more permanent bond, use an iron to heat-set the design. If your dress fabric is sensitive to heat, be careful to keep your teflon presscloth between it and your iron. Notes: The shaft of the iron is hot enough to instantly vaporize the gauze of the skirt... DO NOT touch the skirt with anything but your iron's covered foot. - Smaller design motifs allow for better stretch in your fabric.
