Amish Pottery Vase

Turn your living room into a ceramic studio by making these antique pottery vases. You can choose a vase made of clay, stone or even something else. Make pottery your new hobby with this Amish handcrafted vase from I Love to Create!

Amish Pottery Vase

Materials:

  • Signature Brushes
  •      SB 807 No. 6 Fan Glaze
  • Renaissance Glazes™
  •      RG702 Antique Celadon
  •      RG704 Shino Cream
  •      RG708 Pastel Peach
  • Artists choice of stoneware or porcelain clay body, bisque fired to cone 06.

Instructions:

  1. From top to bottom: two coats each of Antique Celadon (also inside pot liner), Pastel Peach and Shino Cream, with lots of overlap. Dry footed.
     
  2. Fired to cone 5.

Note: The No. 6 Fan Glaze was never cleaned between glaze applications. A banding wheel was used to ease glaze application.
