Forget the expensive bouquet of fresh-cut flowers and craft a bunch of valentine flowers to give or decorate this Valentine’s Day. With simple crafting, you can make valentine flowers in a variety of ways, including crochet, sewing and paper crafts. Give crafted valentine flowers in a bouquet, as a brooch or as a gift-box embellishment.
Crafted valentine flowers will last longer than real cut flowers and cost much less. With paper flowers, you can even use recycled paper, such as magazines, or leftover wrapping paper to craft the buds. If you are an eco-friendly crafter, you might also like to know that the cut flower industry has a few adverse environmental effects.
