Simplifying Instructions

Comment On This Article

When working from extremely complicated written instructions (ex: very old doily patterns), I will work one repetition of the pattern and then photocopy this. Then as I am working on the item, I don't have to read that area of the instructions again as I can just view my photocopy and work from that. I can also place any notes or changes I wish to make right where I need the notation. I have found this to be a great time saver when the instructions provided are completely written instructions.
