Put the unrollled paper in an empty cardboard or plastic canvas tissue box for easy dispensing.

Really a neat idea! Plus you could use glitter or stencils on these! years ago in scrap booking the big thing was to use TP rolls flattened to make pockets, then make tags to slide int those pockets. the rolls were covered with scrap paper for that. But these ones could also be covered with paper is you did not want to paint them- gift wrap or tissue papers come in so many colors at the dollar store. Each of the kids could make one for themselves with a little help!! Another fun idea, Thank You!

I have a problem with using toilet paper rolls for anything. When you flush, alot of bacteria goes up into the air, and, well, with a toilet paper roll's ability to absorb, even a minute amount, it just grosses me out to use for anything. How about a paper towel roll?

Dopey, you have a point, but bacteria dies off and you could always sprays your empty rolls with Lysol before you start. I find that TP rolls are usually stiffer than PT rolls.

dopeydwarf, that problem might be solved by putting the lid cover down before you flush.

Take the paper - either t-paper or paper towel - off some new rolls. Store the clean paper neatly in zipper- style storage bags. Now put them at each bathroom, sink, craft-room, laundryroom, vehicle... Users can pull out a little at a time, before their hands are dirty.

is so cute :))
