Like most Irish people St. Patrick's Day is an important part of my heritage. While I appreciate the fact that lots of Americans are "Irish" at least for one day I would like to point out one mistake which seems to be coming more and more common. While it is acceptable to refer to St. Patrick's Day as St. Paddy's (male) Day -the same way Christmas becomes Xmas - it is totally incorrect to refer to it as St. Patty's (female) Day. Sorry to sound off and I don't mean to detract in any way from your truly great site and the many hours of pleasure it has given me.
