Post It Note Snowman Craft

Customize your notes this winter with the Post It Note Snowman Craft by Sue's Creative Workshop. It's a great way to bring some holiday flair to your everyday life. Post It Note Snowman Craft
 

Materials:

  • 1272H Snowman with Watering Can
     
  • 222QCL Just a Quick Note (from the Nest in Tree cling Set)
     
  • 3" x 11 3/4" piece of snowflake scrapbook paper
     
  • 3" x 3" Post it Note Pad
     
  • Blue and Black Inkpads
     
  • Silver Colorbox Inkpad
     
  • Blue and Red Tombow Markers
     
  • Circle Punch and Scalloped Circle Punch
     
  • White Liquid Applique
     
  • Heat Tool
     
  • White and Blue Cardstock
     
  • Silver Tinsel Trim (Melissa Frances)
     
  • Red and White Gingham Ribbon
     
  • Red and White Baker's Twine and White Button
     
  • Small piece of Velco tape
     
  • Stapler
     
  • Double Stick Adhesive
     
  • Zip Dry Glue
     
  • Scor-It Board and bone folder
     


 

Instructions:

  1. Score the 3" x 11 3/4" paper at 3", 3 1/2", 6 1/2", 7" and 9 1/2".
     
  2. Fold along each score line.
     
  3. Fold over and adhere the last two smaller sections together.
     
  4. This will become the front of your holder.
     
  5. Stamp the Snowman stamp in black into onto white cardstock.
     
  6. Color in the image with the blue and red markers.
     
  7. Apply white liquid applique around the mitten cuffs and top of the hat.
     
  8. Heat white liquid applique as directed with heat tool.
     
  9. Punch snowman out with circle punch.
     
  10. Cut a scalloped circle out of blue cardstock.
     
  11. Gently edge both circles with the silver ink.
     
  12. Adhere circles together onto front of holder.
     
  13. Add small piece of velcro underneath front cover to secure holder.
     
  14. Add 3" x 3" post it pad to center of holder.
     
  15. Staple silver tinsel trim the bottom front section.
     
  16. Cover staples by adding "A Quick Note" stamped in blue to the inside.
     
  17. Glue red gingham bow tied with red and white twine and button to the holder.
