Upcycled Doggy Leg Warmers

It's cold outside - make your pooch Upcycled Doggy Leg Warmers from Erika Lindquist! This is an awesome pet craft that can be made from recycled materials.

 

Upcycled Doggy Leg Warmers

 

Materials:

  • Old pair of fuzzy socks
  • Scissors
  • Sewing needle
  • Thread
  • Ruffles, optional
  • Bows, optional

Instructions:

  1. Find an old pair of socks (for bigger dogs, use knee highs and cut them to the desired length). Cut the socks at the bottom of the ankle area.

  2. Then cut the top part in half.

  3. You should now have 4 pieces. Turn them all inside out and sew the new edges together leaving the top and bottom edges open. The type of fabric these socks were made of required hand stitching instead of the sewing machine. Take in as much as you need depending on the width of your dog's legs.

  4. Reverse them again, and voila!
