Dress your pooch in a doggy style dress with this free dog sewing pattern from Erika Lindquist! Use scraps from your fabric stash and sew up a quick little frock for a girly dog.

Materials:

Jean pocket from an old pair of jeans for the back
Leftover fabric for the skirt
Ribbon for the straps
Old shirt fabric for the "tube" part underneath

Doggy Style Dress

Instructions:

Gather the skirt part with your sewing machine.
Stitch it to the bottom of the denim pocket.
Attach the tube underpart from one side of the pocket to the other.
Sew on the ribbon however you'd like the straps to go.

BIG dogs: You can have this dress too. Just put the pocket on top of a tank and attach the skirt to the tank. I used stretchy fabric for the tube so it could be easily slipped on and fitted.
