Make your own jewelry and stand out from the crowd with this cool little trinket from Arnold Grummer's Paper Making Kits and Supplies.

Supplies:

  • Arnold Grummer's Gingko Leaf Ceramic Casting Mold
  • Brush
  • Glass or glass frit
  • Glass mold release
  • Kiln


Steps:

  1. Brush mold with glass mold release.
     
  2. Place mold and glass of choice in kiln.
     
  3. Slowly ramp up kiln to fusing cycle for selected glass.
     
  4. Slowly ramp down including annealing temperature cycle.
     
  5. Allow mold and glass to cool completely in kiln.
     
  6. Pop glass out of mold, clean, remove any sharp edges, create jewelry.
     
  7. Not recommended for quick firing.
