Perfect Pearls: Shiny Stone Background

In this video from Marti Wills you'll learn how to use perfect pearls mist to make a shiny stone background to use in card making and scrapbooking. There is so much you can do with perfect pearls mists, so learn all of these perfect pearls techniques!

Shiny Stone

Materials:

  • Glossy cardstock
  • Ink Pads – rainbow ink pads work well with this technique
  • Medium sized brayer
  • Perfect Pearls – any color
  • Mini mister full of water
  • Paint brush
  • Paper towels

Instructions:

  1. Load brayer with ink and roll over glossy cardstock to completely cover it.
     
  2. Mix a small amount of Perfect Pearls with water to create a thick paint.
     
  3. Use your paintbrush to dab random splotches of Pearl paint on the colored cardstock.
     
  4. Mist with water to make paint splotches begin to run.
     
  5. Blot lightly with crumpled paper towel to move paint around and create “veins” – do this until you are happy with the look. Let dry.
