Create a Japanese-inspired stamped card with bamboo, Koi fish and a unique floating butterfly. Tke koi fish are set in their own card space, looking much like a koi pond.

Floating Butterfly Stamp Card

Materials:

  • POSH-20 Japanese Set
  • White glossy cardstock
  • Black cardstock
  • Marvy markers
  • Green Blending Blox
  • Green tassel
  • Sharp craft knife
  • Bone Folding Tool
  • Ruler
  • Adhesive
  • Foam tape

Steps:

  1. Cut white glossy cardstock to 5 ½” x 8 ½” and 2 1/8” x 3” pieces. Cut black cardstock to 2 ¼” x 3 1/8” piece.

  2. Position large white piece in vertical orientation. Apply marker to Butterfly image and stamp Butterfly approximately ¼” from right edge and 3 ½” from top of piece.

  3. Using markers and Green Blending Blox, stamp bamboo several times in lower left corner of piece. Horizontally place ruler 4 ¼” from top of piece and score, avoiding butterfly. Cut around butterfly wings with craft knife. Fold along score line to create card. Butterfly wings will pop up and float above card.

  4. Using markers, stamp Koi on small white piece. Mat with black cardstock. Wrap tassel around piece and secure on back. Adhere to front of card with foam tape.
