Watercolor Leaf Prints

Here's some inspiration for some nature crafts to make in your spare time.  Crafts with leaves, like these Watercolor Leaf Prints from Lynda Heines, will bring your home to life!  Use large leaves to create patterns on canvas, paper, or directly on your wall!

 Watercolor Leaf Prints

Materials:

  • Variety of leaves (these are fig leaves)
  • Watercolor paper or scrapbook paper
  • Selection of watercolor paints
     

Instructions:

  1. First pick out some leaves.

  2. Lay out your paper.

  3. Paint the back of the leaf with watercolor paint.

  4. Place and press leaf on paper.

  5. Use a paint cloth and press on the leaf to make sure the whole leaf has contact with the paper.

  6. Use a white paint pen to give some definition to the leaves.
