Martha Stewart Stenciled Candle Hurricanes

Materials:

  • Martha Stewart Crafts™ 2oz Multi-Surface Satin Acrylic Craft Paint - Putty
  • Martha Stewart Crafts™ 2oz Multi-Surface Pearl Acrylic Craft Paint - Fruit Punch
  • Martha Stewart Crafts™ 6oz Frost Etching Effect
  • Martha Stewart Crafts™ 4.5oz Stencil Adhesive Spray
  • Martha Stewart Crafts™ Foam Pouncers Set - 6pc
  • Martha Stewart Crafts™ Basic Brush Set - 5pc
  • Martha Stewart Crafts™ Cathedral Lace Laser-Cut Stencils
  • Martha Stewart Crafts™ Stencil Tape
  • Assorted hurricane candle holders

Instructions:

Hurricane 1:

  1. Using stencil tape, mask off a 1in band from the rim of the hurricane.
     
  2. Using a large soft bristle brush, paint frost etching effect on the surface of the hurricane.
     
  3. Let dry completely, then use a craft knife to carefully score along the edge of tape to release it.
     
  4. Using the Large Cathedral Lace stencil, a foam pouncer, and Fruit Punch, follow general stenciling instructions on the package, using the photograph as reference.

 

Hurricane 2:

  1. Using stencil tape, mask off a 2in band from the top and bottom of the hurricane.
     
  2. With a large soft bristle brush, paint frost etching medium on surface of hurricane.
     
  3. Let dry completely, then use a craft knife to carefully score along the edge of tape to release tape.
     
  4. Use the Large Cathedral Lace stencil, a foam pouncer, Fruit Punch, and Putty, follow general stenciling instructions on the package, using the photograph as reference.

 

Hurricane 3:

  1. Using stencil tape, mask off an area 3in from the top of the hurricane.
     
  2. Let dry completely, then use a craft knife to carefully score along the edge of tape to release tape.
     
  3. Using the Large Cathedral Lace stencil, a foam pouncer, and Fruit Punch, follow general stenciling instructions on the package, using the photograph as reference.
