Instructions:
- Lightly wipe ware with damp sponge to remove bisque dust.
- Using the pencil, lightly sketch the freeform flowers onto entire bowl.
- On a piece of foil, pour an amount of each E-Z Stroke™ color. Using the No. 6 or No. 4 Round and the No. 1 Liner as needed, begin each flower as follows, adding the base color, then the shading and details and finally the black outlines as follows:
Yellow Flower:
a. Neon Yellow: petals
b. Neon Orange: shading on petals
c. Neon Red: flower center
d. Leaves: Ivy Green and Dark Olive
Pink Flower:
a. Ruby Red: petals
b. Royal Purple: shading on petals
c. Neon Yellow: flower center
Purple Flower:
a. Royal Purple: petals
b. Neon Blue: around center of purple flower
c. Roasted Chestnut: flower center
Orange Flower:
a. Neon Orange: petals
b. Neon Red: shading on petals around edge
c. Neon Green: flower center
d. Roasted Chestnut: dots in flower center
e. Leaves: Neon Green, Ivy Green and Dark Olive
Blue Flowers:
a. Neon Blue: petals
b. Royal Purple: shading on petals
c. Leaves: Ivy Green and Dark Olive
Small Lavender Flowers:
a. Santa Fe Sunset: petals
b. Neon Orange: flower centers
c. Roasted Chestnut: dot in the flower center
d. Leaves: Neon Green
Background between flowers and leaves: Azure Blue wash
- Outline and detail all flowers with the No. 1 Liner and Cobalt Jet Black. Paint Cobalt Jet Black into centers of Blue Flowers and very centers of Yellow Flowers.
- Fire to witness cone 04 to set all color.
- Using the No. 6 Fan Glaze, apply two flowing coats of Pure Brilliance™ Clear Glaze to the entire piece.
- Stilt and fire to witness cone 06.
- Use a stilt stone to remove stilt marks.
