Glittered Snowman and Santa Ornaments

  • Extra fine white glitter
  • Glass ornaments
  • Black and orange paint

For Santa Ornament

  • Thin black or black and white polka dot ribbon
  • Black paint

Glittered Snowman Ornament

  1. Start by making some Glitter In Glass Ornaments…for these I use extra fine white glitter.
  2. Start by painting two circles (filled in) for the eyes.  Now, make about 5 or 6 circles for the snowman’s mouth.  They do not need to be perfect, we are trying to achieve the look of coal…remember Frosty the Snowman with his eyes made out of coal?  I went a step further and painted the silver top black too so it looks like a hat.

  3. Now paint on his carrot nose, and you are all done!

  2. Take your ribbon and wrap it around the center of the ornament.  Cut and glue in place.

  3. Use your black paint to add a buckle.  I used puffy paint for some depth and shine.

I like that the glitter is on the inside so you don't end up with little sparkles all over the place. Cute idea.

You have such awesome and great patterns. I can't wait to try them. Only problem, is I want to do them all and unfortunately, I have a lack of hours as I'm still working full time. I can't wait to retire then I'll have lots of time. I am only 74 and hope to work for a few more years. Please keep these patterns coming. Sure appreciate them. Claudia, Ottawa, Ontario, Canada

I really like these; super cute, super easy and something most ages could participate in.
