Christmas Jewels Ornament

"Formed with quilled newspaper strips shaped and joined together, coated with sparkly nail polish, then varnished and decorated. The longest part was waiting for each step to dry thoroughly before proceeding. The easiest way I found to keep the larger coils from unraveling while quilling, was to start with the tool then continue rolling by hand. I used little clips to hold the coils when I needed a break. This is a frugal project, most of the supplies had been bought from a dollar store."

Adding some glitter with nail polish is such a great idea! I love how this turned out.
