Use fresh, rather than traditional colors, to create a Santa Claus ornament with a wonderfully textured beard. This would make a great gift at the holidays.

Materials:

Americana Acrylics

DAO1 - Snow (Titanium) White
DAO67 - Lamp (Ebony) Black
DAO78 - Flesh Tone
DA151 - Royal Fuchsia
DA235 - Citron Green
DA236 - Grape Juice

Snow-Tex

DAS9 - Snow-Tex

Winter Wonderland Kit

DASK220 - Americana Winter Wonderland Kit (paints included)

Supplies

Wood santa ornament

Instructions:

1. Paint as follows: Hat and berries, Royal Fuchsia; hat trim, Grape Juice; face, Flesh Tone.

2. Mix Flesh Tone and Royal Fuchsia and use for nose.

3. Dot in eyes with Lamp Black.

4. Paint holly leaves Citron Green.

5. Stripe hat and highlight with Titanium White.

6. Use Snow-Tex for beard and mustache. Let all dry.

7. To finish, apply Crystal Twinkles as desired.
