  • Knitting needles: Sizes 4.5 mm (U.S. 7) and 5.5 mm (U.S. 9)  or size needed to obtain tension.

FINISHING
Neckband: Sew raglan seams, leaving right front raglan open.
With RS of work facing, smaller needles, MC and A tog, pat 7 (7-9-9-9) from right sleeve st holder. Pat 19 (21-23-23-25) sts from back st holder. Pat 7 (7-9-9-9) sts from left sleeve st holder. Pick up and knit 8 (10-10-10-11) sts down left front neck edge. Pat 7 (7-9-9-9) sts from front st holder. Pick up and knit 9 (11-11-11-12) sts up right front neck edge. 57 (63-71- 71-75) sts.
Next row: (WS). P9 (11-11-11-12). Pat to end of row.
Cont in Pat as given for Back for 7 rows, ending with WS facing for next row. Cast off loosely in pat.
Zipper Opening: Place marker on right front raglan edge 2 ins [5 cm] up from side edge. Sew raglan seam from side edge to marker. Sew Zipper in opening of raglan above marker.
Sew side and sleeve seams.

I found that once we start decreacing for armhole it was difficult to keep the pattern going.I tried a couple of times and gave up.I would say that I am a good knitter, so I would not recommend this pattern to beginners.
